Pilates power gym reviews

Minimum assembly, quality control at factory needs to make sure cables are on pulleys. Once cable back on pulley, everything operated flawlessly. Machine is more than claimed on TV, and is excellent, especially for someone who is just starting out/not worked out for a long period and I am not able to exceed the maximums of this machine yet. The CD is great. The manual is very informative and helpful. This machine forced me to use my core-muscles and the Pilates excersises are areal wake-up. Easy to use, not complicated and so far extremely helpful toward a goal of overall fitness.

I bought mine online elsewhere for about 20% less including shipping, so do your homework before you buy. I’d spent about a month looking for the right product to help me lose fat, tone and strengthen and chose the Pilates Power Gym because it gives me everything I want and need for fat loss and muscle strengthening and toning.

As stated in other reviews, it’s ready to go when you slide it out of the box. It weighs about 70 pounds, but can easily be ‘dragged’ by its handle and stored against a small space on a wall or in a closet if your bed is too close to the ground. It’s strong, sturdy and works as advertised.

As for the height complaints, in reading the instructions and checking out the preparation video on one of the DVDs, it seems that The Gym should accomodate the tall people as well. Yes, the glideboard can be angled into two additional positions, but it also has a height adjustment knob that takes it further when it’s in the C position. For guys looking to work with maximum resistance, I think this should solve the height problem.

The included workouts are easy to follow along. I learned the basic pilates moves within three workouts and now alternate with some of the more advanced workouts. I’m definitely look forward to the fab results that will come. I’m happily sore every day since I bought it!

Bought this from another website but let me tell you guys its worth every penny…I am an exercise hater …get bored easily how many equipments I have tried nothing worked for me as I was soooooo bored wih the monotonous routines they offered this thing is a GYM in itself…the only thing needs improvemnet is the handles next to your neck where pulleys attach it should have more space otherwise very sturdy and best of all no assembly required …just attach the foot rest and start working out in 5 mins ……if you are thinking of buying it dont think buy it….please be advised if you are very heavy than it may not be suitable for you as the bench is not too wide………Enjoy it and live a better life…while looking gorgeous:)

I really enjoy my Pilates Power gym. It’s the first as seen on tv product I purchased that is well made. It came already put together and is really easy and fun to use. I’ve seen results from it. I live in an apartment and wanted a small unit that I could use when I can’t get to the gym. I like that it’s compact and that it doesn’t take up much room. I will say if you are a big or tall person, the board size is not that big. I’m 5’5″ tall. Overall, great product.
